AQUALYX®

Aqualyx® is a non-surgical solution used to minimise and remove stubborn localised pockets of fat. It is ideal for those who exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet but have fatty areas that won’t shift, even with focused exercise.
This technique, known as Aqualysis™ or Aquaplasty™, involves injecting a solution into localised fat deposits. Aqualyx® consists of phosphatidylcholine – a natural substance which, when given in higher doses, can cause the destruction of fat cells.

Aqualyx® works by breaking down cell membranes to liquify the fat cell, destroying it permanently, releasing the lipids that are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system.

Destroying fat cells is only a long-term solution provided you retain a stable weight, eat healthily and continue to exercise regularly. Aqualyx® leads to a permanent reduction of fatty tissue; once removed, fat cells will not reappear.

Important: Aqualyx® is a body contouring treatment not a weight loss solution. Treatments with Aqualyx® are only applicable for small, localized areas. Clients must be within one stone of their recommended body weight to have treatment and be able to pinch about 3cm of fat.

Treatment consists of a set of injections, administered 3-4 weeks apart, whereby Aqualyx® is injected into the targeted area. A reduction in fat deposits can be seen after just one treatment, however two-three sessions are recommended to achieve desired results

Lemon Bottle

LEMON BOTTLE is a lipolysis solution intended for fat dissolving on the face and body. It is a high-concentration, premium solution that combines Riboflavin, also known as Vitamin B2 and other ingredients such as Bromelain to aid in fat decomposition to increase and accelerate the metabolism of fat cells.

Unlike other fat dissolvers, LEMON BOTTLE does not use PPC or Sodium Deoxycholate. By changing the storage form of the fat component and inducing it as an energy source, it reduces the number and size of fat cells to maximise fat reduction.

Lemon Bottle facilitates the circulation of the lymphatic fluid and can rapidly release the degraded fat cells, which is effective in reducing oedema and cellulite. It can also decrease adipocytes and produce collagen to increase skin elasticity.

During your consultation Jay will be able to answer any questions you may have about your skin concerns and give you personalised advice. If the decision is taken to proceed with a treatment, you will need to book another appointment for the treatment at the salon.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY INFORMATION

We recommend you avoid any fat dissolving Treatment if any of the following apply: pregnancy; breast-feeding; severe somatic symptom disorders; acute conditions of chronic diseases; local inflammation; dermatological diseases in the injection area; problems with the functioning of the immune system; tendency to have allergic reactions; individual intolerance to the components of the dermal filler; the likelihood of scar formation; previous introduction of another gel into the injection area; infectious diseases; face polish applied less than a month before the procedure.

Pre-treatment Recommendations: Do NOT consume alcohol at least 24hrs prior to appointment (alcohol may thin blood and increase the risk of bruising: Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before a treatment. Medication and supplements such as aspirin, Vitamin E, ginkgo blob, ginseng, St John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Mill supplements, ibuprofen, Motrin and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
We recommend you schedule appointments at least 2 weeks prior to any special events you plan to attend as healing time can take from 4 to 14 days

A Patch Sensitivity Test is required 48hrs prior to treatment.
Clients taking medication and those who are pregnant may be extra-susceptible to allergic reactions and we recommend consulting a doctor first.
