Skin boosters’ are an injectable treatment designed to deliver deep skin hydration and promote a natural glow and radiance. A relatively new treatment concept which appeals to anyone who wants to achieve a fresh and natural result from their anti-ageing treatments.

Skin booster injections contain a soft, gel-like substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). This substance occurs naturally in the skin and holds incredible amounts of moisture. However, natural production of HA depletes with age, which causes skin to appear lined or loose with a dryer texture.

Microinjections of deeply hydrating hyaluronic acid restores the moisture in the skin, improving its elasticity, firmness and radiance. Skin Booster injections can penetrate much deeper than any moisturiser and last longer.

Injections are administered here by Jay, an expert technician who is fully trained, and certified to a medical level, using only recognised and approved products.

ADVANCED SKIN BOOSTER TREATMENTS

To achieve the best long-lasting results, 2-3 sessions are recommended with a 4 week interval. Some people may see the results within first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible 4 weeks after the second treatment. We then recommend a maintenance session once every 6 months.

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

Profhilo delivers very pure, stabilised hyaluronic acid into the skin through a series of small injections. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring chemical which the body uses to retain water in the skin and support the skin’s collagen and elastin.

Profhilo® works in a course of 2 or 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart. On the face, only 5 injection points are necessary on each side of the face to give maximum results.

Profhilo® can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other dermal fillers like laser treatments.

JALUPRO SKIN BOOSTER TREATMENTS

Jalupro is a skin booster with an innovative formula of amino acids and hyaluronic acid which has been scientifically proven to stimulate the production of collagen, maintain moisture levels and create molecular scaffolding to make the skin more elastic.

The results of this treatment restore radiance, firmness and adds oomph to dull skin. It prevents and reduces sagging skin on the face, hands, and body. It reduces lines and signs of expression and can improve the appearance of scars (including acne), keloids and stretch marks.

It can be used on the Face (upper and lower), eyes (brightens dark circles and reduces fine lines), neck, back or hands, décolleté, back of arms, body (stretch marks), elbows and tops of knees. Both Jalupro Classic and Jalupro HMW you will see improved results straight away, but this may depend on the severity of the concern and thus discussed on consultation as to how many treatments are required.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JALUPRO AND PROFHILO IS THAT JALUPRO CAN BE MIXED WITH ANTI-WRINKLE TREATMENTS

JALUPRO CLASSIC

A minimum of 2 treatments are required 7-14 days apart. However, for optimum results 3-4 sessions are recommended and will last around 6 months. Small amount of botox can be added to create Jalutox which soften lines.

JALUPRO HMW

This product is slightly thicker to the CLASSIC and is used for very marked furrows, depressions, deep wrinkles around the eyes, nose mouth, cheeks, and those of the neck & décolleté. 1 to 2 sessions are recommended 20 days apart and will last up to 10 months. Small amount of botox can be added to create Jalutox which soften lines.

IMPORTANT ADVISORY INFORMATION

We recommend you avoid any Skin Booster treatment if any of the following apply: pregnancy; breast-feeding; severe somatic symptom disorders; acute conditions of chronic diseases; local inflammation; dermatological diseases in the injection area; problems with the functioning of the immune system; tendency to have allergic reactions; individual intolerance to the components of the dermal filler; the likelihood of scar formation; previous introduction of another gel into the injection area; infectious diseases; face polish applied less than a month before the procedure.

Pre-treatment Recommendations: Do NOT consume alcohol at least 24hrs prior to appointment (alcohol may thin blood and increase the risk of bruising: Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before a treatment. Medication and supplements such as aspirin, Vitamin E, ginkgo blob, ginseng, St John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Mill supplements, ibuprofen, Motrin and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
We recommend you schedule appointments at least 2 weeks prior to any special events you plan to attend as healing time can take from 4 to 14 days

A Patch Sensitivity Test is required 48hrs prior to treatment.
Clients taking medication and those who are pregnant may be extra-susceptible to allergic reactions and we recommend consulting a doctor first.
